Jewel “Jerri” Jones, 68, of Fort Smith, died April 13, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born August 16, 1944 in Sallisaw, OK to Frank R. and Della Smith Oxford. She was a retired employee of De Soto Furniture.
She is survived by two sons, Mike and James Jones both of Fort Smith; four sisters, Her Twin Charlene Deshazo of Sprio, OK., Mary Mitchell of Van Buren, Florene Dunning of Fort Smith, and Nadine Edmonds of Muldrow; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Brent Cemetery near Sallisaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
