Jimmy Ray Blackwood, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in Fort Smith, AR. He was born on December 20, 1954 in Wynnewood, OK to the late Bill and Zettie Faye Blackwood. He was a retired Oil and Gas Lease Operator and a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, AR.
Funeral service will 10:00 AM Monday at the First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, AR. Burial will be 4:00 PM Monday at Antioch Cemetery near Antioch, OK under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.
He is survived by his wife Cathy, one daughter Emily Oglesby of Pittsburg, TX, one son Brian Blackwood of Stillwater, OK, two sisters Linda Harris of Elmore City, OK and Roszetta McGregor of Washington, OK, one brother Bill Blackwood, Jr. of Washington, OK and three grandchildren.
