He is survived by his brother, Bruce Jacobs; his son, Skip Jacobs and his wife Angie; his daughter, Sherry Douglas. Jimmy also has five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Jimmy will be on 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Burial will take place at Mount Harmony Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Skip Jacobs, Paul Jacobs, Bruce Chandler, Jacob Vincent, Ricky Day and Aaron Jacobs.
