Lee Cross, 83, of Fort Smith passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was born on September 1, 1937 to the late Raymond and Gertrude Boyer. She was a loving and devoted mother of 2 and grandmother of 4. An active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Lee was also a volunteer at Mercy Hospital. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard Cross.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, with interment of ashes to follow in the church columbarium. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Cross of Fort Smith; her son, Martin Cross and his wife Kim, of Fairview, Texas, and four grandchildren; Colin, Joseph, Keeran and Audrey Cross.
