He is survived by one son, Leon Hunter of Alma; two sisters, Alvern McDonald of Van Buren and Sue Tuck of Alma; one brother, Alvin Hunter of Fort Smith; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Hunter and grandson Leon Hunter, Jr.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Mount McCurry Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny and Ricky Hunter, Skeeter Johnson, Darrell Bennett, Michael Fisher, and Randy Willhite.
