

Mardell S. Finsel, 93, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Fort Smith, AR, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Oklahoma City. She was born January 28, 1919 in Rogers, AR to the late Eugene and Ruby Seeley. She was retired teacher from Southside High School in Fort Smith where she taught Sociology, Psychology and World History. She was a former employee of the Clayton House in Fort Smith. She was a member of First Christian Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Finsel.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with Rev. Randy Jay officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter Joan F. Ulmer of Fort Smith, AR, two sons Charles E. Finsel of Oklahoma City, OK and Paul T. Finsel of Pasadena, TX, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
