Mike was born to Allen and Mary Jo (Villines) Crawford on July 21, 1962, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. After graduating from Southside High School in Fort Smith, Mike attended the University of Arkansas. Most of his professional career was in retail. He married Kelly, the absolute love of his life, and they had one daughter, Sarah, and son, Sean Franklin.
Mike was an avid Razorback fan, and may have inherited this love from his mother. Attending Razorback basketball games with his dad was one of his favorite activities; they had attended a game two days prior to his death. Mike loved his family … still treasured memories of grandparents, the farm, Christmas Eve parties, and countless other happy times. Mike was a fun-loving, caring person who will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Crawford of Redondo Beach, CA; his son Sean Franklin, wife Andrea and three grandchildren of Hutto, TX; and his father, Allen Crawford and wife Becky of Fort Smith.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2022, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial and graveside service will be at 3:30 PM Monday at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, AR under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
