Terry& I grew  up together about a block apart.  We went through grade school & highschool together.  We were very close @ best friends .  We gathered at his home during tean age years.  His dad played the piano and several boys  and I  would sing  along  . We would have a good  times. 
Of course we never got in trouble..? He will be dearly missed

I didn't know Terry (Grandpa)  very long but when I knew him he was always smiling and was very kind person. I will miss him very much he made memories with me I wouldn't take back ever. I know he is with God looking down on everyone he knows especially his family. I might have not know him for very long but I love him and thankful I meet him and I might think of the times we did spend together and be sad but at the end I know I would be smiling looking up thinking of him with God smiling down.

Terry was one of the sweetest, kindest people I ever met -- and so funny, and fun to be around. He was always so genuinely interested in finding out how folks were doing after he hadn't seen them for a while -- that always struck me, that sense that he was truly invested in how you were, and not just the surface kind of politely asking that a lot of people do. I was always so happy to see he and Elaine at any family gathering. I am so, so sorry for your loss. I will miss him greatly. Sending love y'all's way. 

My late husband, David Kirchman was best friends with Terry and Joe Ed Smith during Jr High and High School.   They were together all the time, lived really close together. David said they played cards with Terry's Dad any time the weather was bad. If the sun was shining they were out riding bikes.  Later when they had cars they were cruising. Terry's family had a car just like David's family.  I was to meet David after school by the choir room.  It was pouring rain and I flew into David's car.  At that point I hadn't met David's Dad or Terry's Dad. Yep, wrong car.  Mr Lynch and I finally figured it out.  I loved Terry. He was so handsome and had that great voice, both speaking and singing.  He came to David's Service 3 years ago and I didn't recognize him at first but when he spoke, I knew that beautiful voice.  Please know he was dearly loved.  Wish I could be with you. RIP Terry.  

I am sorry to hear of the lose of your loved one. You and all your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God will bless you all and give you strength to move on in your life.
