Dad you mean the world to me, life without you we never be the same. Lost a piece of my heart when you left. I appreciate everything you’ve ever done for me. I loved being your son, as a kid you had the some of the coolest hobbies and toys around. Made everything fun when I was with you. You had a great taste for music, I loved rocking out to your records and just talking with you about bands. When I became an adult I feel are relationship grew even stronger, because we could talk about anything and everything. You always encouraged me to do what makes me happy, even though I’m sure not all of it you agreed with, but it didn’t matter you still supported me. I loved how you could make something so junky into something so beautiful, a true artist with your hands and some tools. I could write about you forever, you are a true one of a kind person.  I love you more than the world and I always will. Your buddy, your pal, your son, Josh.  Love you Dad and I’ll see you again someday 

Paul was a real trooper when we worked at Indian Territory Pistoliers together. He was one of the founding members of that group.

Paul was an avid student of Old West History. He knew so much about different characters from the 1880's and 1890's that he could tell anyone who would listen just about anything they would want to know about almost any notable character from that era.

It is my hope that he can now visit with those souls who are in Heaven and have a great time discussing the finer points of history with them finally!

He was a good man and he will be missed by many of us he has left behind as he goes to his well deserved reward.

Papa Paul,

All I can think about is how grateful that I am for the time that we got to spend together last year. Before that, I hadn’t seen you in many years. We had such a nice visit, just after Christmas 2018. Thank you for showing Daniel and I around your town, and for helping Daniel discover his new love for antique stores.  We loved going to Cheddars and and visiting the wineries of Arkansas. We also enjoyed every minute of sharing some Christmas cookies and watching the birds eat in your backyard. 

When I think back to my childhood, I have to thank you for letting me be a curious little girl with so many questions about all your toys and knickknacks. I am sure that helped contribute to my love for learning and not being afraid to ask questions. 

I will always remember you for your love of motorcycles and black licorice. I have you to thank for loving that acquired taste that most people don’t. I always remember hearing about the motorcycle trips that you and grandma would take. They sounded so fun and I loved all the goodies that you would bring back. 

You were always into some kind of hobby, and I really admire that. You have inspired me to focus on hobbies a little more. 

I love you so much.

Grandpa, I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve never lost someone so close to my heart. I’m always going to regret not being with you these last few years. You were one of the most important father figures in my life, you taught me so much. As a little girl there was nothing that made me more excited than when you’d let me sit in the garage with you and watch you work, or the first time you trusted me enough to help you clean and care for your bike. You always had so much patience with me, no matter what I did wrong or didn’t understand. As I look back on our last time together it seemed so normal, we did all of our usual things, we went to your favorite restaurant, and to all our favorite antique shops. You talked about the lawn, and how you made sure you cut it for my visit, you were so proud of it. You were so compassionate and proud about everything you did. I wish then I would have known that was the last time I’d have with you. I wish I could have stayed longer, listened to your laugh a little longer, gave you another hug.  I’m always going to miss our times together. I miss when I’d get to sit in your room and you’d share your candies, I never told you I actually really don’t like licorice, but I ate it anyways because you liked it so much and you never shared it with anyone else. You always made me feel special. I hope more than anything that I’ll see you again someday, I’ll love you always, Harley. 

Dad - 
My childhood memories with you will always stay with me. Fishing on the boat, building and racing RC and slot cars, and bottle rocket wars with the neighbors in the alley. I remember watching you bring home junk motorcycles and completely rebuild them into beautiful machines that everyone wanted to buy. 
As I grew older you taught me your work ethic. I learned the efforts that I need to put forth in life to provide effectively for my family. You were always very good with your hands. Because of you I try to do things myself when possible for the knowledge gained, the satisfaction of accomplishment, and to save money. Most of all you taught me how to be a man and I am forever grateful.
I know I was not the easiest kid to deal with through my teenage years and I appreciate your patience with me. At least I made the way a little easier for James and Josh since I broke you and Mom in first (at least that's what Josh tells me).  
I will always love and miss you very much and look forward to reuniting in heaven.

I always knew it was going to be a good day when Paul and Cathy would come into Chuy's. I got to greet them with a solid handshake and a big hug. Paul always brought such a wave of good energy and happiness to the staff when he was there. I have missed that since moving to Dallas, but will always treasure those memories.

I will forever miss the way you could make me laugh. My heart is so broken. Thank you for being my dad too. I will love you always.

We’ve spent many hours doing  shoot outs and events in a lot of towns. More hours over the supper table talking about those times and figures in history.  Hate to see you go my friend. 

I first met Paul (Dad) 30 years ago When I first started dating my husband. I have so many wonderful memories tucked in my heart with him.  I will always love you.❤️ My only regret is That if I had known that the last time I saw you, would be the last time I saw you, I would’ve hugged you a little tighter, Told you I loved you a little longer, And stayed by your side a little longer.  My mind Knows that you are gone, But my heart will never accept  it. I miss you so much. 💔 I can never repay you for all that you did. I will never forget you. I love you. Paul and Cathy were regulars who would request my section every Sunday at Chuy’s. I always looked forward to seeing them and getting to go the extra mile for them. Their dinner always ended with sweet hugs. As years passed, we grew closer and they became like family to me. Paul always said I was just like another grandkid to them. Paul truly was interesting, genuine and hilarious. I will always miss seeing his big ole hat come through those doors ♥️

Dad I wish you could always be by my side but I know you will always be in my heart. My family & love you so very much. I will see you again some day and I miss you terribly already. Thank you for everything.
