Paula L. Turley, 68, of Charleston, AR, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. She was born on February 2, 1955 in Fort Smith to the late Paul and Ruth Butler Nelke. Paula was a retired secretary for SPF America and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don Turley, Sr. and her son, Don Turley, Jr.
She is survived by her brother, Mike Nelke and his wife Sharon, of Van Buren, along with four grandchildren.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday, August 7, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the First Assembly of God Church in Lavaca, AR. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Paris, AR.
