Pauline "Polly" Brown

Pauline “Polly” Brown, 86, of Hackett, AR died August 10, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born October 28, 1926 in Eufaula, OK to John Wesley and Nettie Harrison Weaver Carr. She was a retired waitress and member of the Northside Church of Christ in Greenwood. She is survived by one daughter Carol and husband Marvin Stewart of Poteau, OK., four son, John and wife Charlotte Brown of Hackett, Wesley and wife Viola Brown of Fort Smith, Douglas and wife Debbie Brown of Fort Smith, and Gary and wife Dora Rae Brown of Van Buren; one sister, Elizabeth Fuller of Texas; one brother Andy Carr of Texas; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hansel A. Brown and son, Carlos Brown. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
