He is survived by his sister Flo Stiles, brother Steve Douglas, three sons Jonathan, David, Michael, and two granddaughters.
Gordon was an avid reader, sci-fi lover, tropical fish hobbyist & a patriot.
A memorial service is being held at Fort Smith National Cemetery June 1 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Hospice are encouraged.
