He enjoyed building Hot Rods, and he was a Herbivore.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Barbara Lee Rowe of Lindsay, CA, and Allisha Annette Komives of Delta, CO; three sons, James Stevens Mayes of Hemet, CA, Jerry Francis Mayes of Fort Smith, and Rodney Richard Mayes of Carney, OK.
Cremation services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
