Rita Ann Hopkins

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Harlow (Bullingotn), sister Tammy Harlow, and daughter Madison Hopkins.

Rita is survived by her father Troy Harlow; husband Wade Hopkins, sister Melinda Muth (Harlow); daughter Shawna Barber (Flanagan), son Brandon Hopkins, daughter Keila Hopkins, granddaughters Madison and Kenzleigh Barber, grandson Gatlin Barber, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Rita was an organ donor and member of the First Church of the Nazarene, along with working in their nursery. She was a homemaker and worked at Home Helpers as a health caregiver. Rita loved working with children at the church and bowling. She also loved bowling herself and received the Clara B Rogers/Roy Culverson service and contribution award in 2015 and won League Champions alongside her daughter Keila in 2022. She was one of the only right handed bowlers that slide on her right foot. She was an avid animal lover. Rita will be truly missed by all those who loved and knew her.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 29th at 1:00pm at First Church of the Nazarene, 4813 N O St, Fort Smith, AR 72904. Following the service, Rita will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
