Robbie Martinez

Robbie Martinez, 88, passed away October 12, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born May 29, 1924 in Alma, AR to William R. Cobb and Sarah Lou (Woods) Cobb. She graduated from Fort Smith High School, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Angel Martinez; and her son, Kent Martinez.

She is survived by her son, David Martinez of Chicago, IL; one sister, Madge Underwood of Fort Smith; and four grandchildren, Sarah and Felicia Martinez of Dearborn, MI and Julia and Samuel Martinez of Chicago, IL.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Dale Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Vann Rogers, Shane and Bryan Patterson, Randy, Bill, and Chris Jones.

Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2012, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
