Rodney Clayton Peacock

Rodney Clayton Peacock, 76, of Fort Smith, died in his home on Sunday November 24, 2013. Rodney was born May 29, 1937 in Texarkana, Texas to Harold Lee and Bernice V. Deaton Peacock. He was a 1955 graduate of Texarkana High School and retired in 1995 from Hiram Walker in Fort Smith. Rodney was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Nancy of the home; three cherished daughters, Susan Reehl and husband John of Fort Smith, Karrie Efurd and husband Paul of Charleston, AR., and Lee Jones of Norman, OK; three beloved grandchildren, Laura Reehl of Fort Smith, Andrew Jones of Norman, OK., and Melissa Jones of Boston, Massachusetts; one sister, Sally Edwards of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, Robert Peacock of Beaumont, TX; three nieces, Kimberlee Williams, Shanon Weich, and Karrie Dillon. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph Peacock, and niece, Kelley Peacock. Rosary will be said on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 6:00 PM in St. Boniface Catholic Church. Mass will be said on Wednesday November 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Gerald Burns, Vincent Columbus, Lucius Corbett, Paul Crane, David Foss and Kenneth Kaelin.
