Ronald R. Boyles Sr.

Ronald went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 10, 2023, in the presence of his loving wife and daughters in Vian, Oklahoma.

Ronald Roy Boyles Sr., was born October 19, 1938, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas the son of Claude Boyles and Mary (Taylor) Boyles. He attended Ft. Smith High School, then shortly after he joined the United States Navy where he served before being honorably discharged. Ronald returned home to marry the love of his life, Dianna (Grace) on November 15, 1958.

Ron was mostly known as Super, he began working at AC Taylor Skelly service station as a mechanic and was a reputable mechanic for several years before purchasing the Barling service station. In 1977 Ronald became an ordained pastor and served in a number of Churches as well as preaching at revivals all over Northeast Arkansas. Later in life after retiring, he had a desire to continue to serve so he became a CNA in 1992 where he witnessed to anyone that would listen. He was a proud 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and thoroughly enjoyed serving in the community.

Super was a loving husband, father, grandpa and was especially proud to be called great grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Patricia Irwin and Judy Weaver; his brother, Donald Boyles; his daughter, Tina Felt; and his grandson, Daniel Boyles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dianna Boyles; his daughters, Mary Morris and husband Bub, Debbie Cantrell and husband Terry; his sons, Ronald R. Boyles, Jr., Robert Boyles and wife Gwyn; his grandchildren, Shannon Traxson and husband Will, Staci Cox and husband Jimmy, JR Langley, Timothy Boyles, Brandy Boyles, Randie Jo Griffith, Ceara Felt, Taylor Boyles, Daron Boyles; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Caregivers at Vian Nursing Home for their kindness and loving care.

Arrangements were entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
