Russell James Hayden

Russell James Hayden was born February 27, 1961 in Battle Creek, Michigan, and he passed away August 28, 2022 at his home with his children. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. Russell, also known as Jimbo, was a concrete finisher and equipment operator by trade. His passion was his grandchildren and his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dean Flowers of Bartlesville, OK; his wife, Kimberly Hayden of Bartlesville; and his son, Justin Hayden, of Bartlesville.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Makenna Strandgard and son-in-law Brandon Smith of Barling; son, James Hayden and daughter-in-law Amanda Hayden of Rudy; daughter, Amanda Francis and son-in-law Jamie Francis of Fort Smith; siblings, Tommy Flowers of Cassville, MO, Johnny Flowers of Bartlesville, David Flowers of Bartlesville, Bernadine Flowers Teague of Sperry, OK, Lori Henderson of Owasso, OK, and Billy Flowers of Sperry, OK; grandchildren, Kahli Moses, Matthew Smith, Khloe Hayden, Eli and Payton Francis, and Madison Smith.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service, from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM.
