Shawn Vayden Gilbert, 52, of Lavaca, passed from this life February 12, 2022 in Mulberry, Arkansas. Shawn was born December 13, 1970 in Fort Smith to Michael Gilbert and Nancy Lairamore Gilbert Glenn. Shawn was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping throughout his life. He is remembered as the life of any get together. Shawn will be greatly missed.
Shawn is survived by his maternal uncle and aunt, Carrol and Susan Lairamore; his uncle Roy Pigg; cousins Sam and Joe Lairamore, Robert and Rhett Pigg and Jennifer and Nathan Lairamore; his life partner and her daughter, Glenda and Paiges Arsola; and friend Jeremy Stewart and many more close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and his maternal grandparents, John and Doris Lairamore.
A visitation to celebrate Shawn’s life will begin at 2:00pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home.
