Shirley Lou Chastain

Shirley Lou Chastain, 71, of Mountainburg, AR, passed away Thursday August 18, 2011. She was born September 21, 1939 in Nevada City, CA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alma, AR and the Marine Corps League Auxiliary.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband Allen M. Chastain,, four daughters;; Constance R. Jarrell of Mountainburg, AR, Suzzanne M. Mendoza of Santa Rosa, CA, Rebecca M. Chastain of Fayetteville, AR, and Lisa A. Schwarz of Reno, NV, four sons; Michael D. Wallace of Fort Smith, AR, Patrick G. Wallace of Santa Rosa, CA, Thomas Chastain of Little Rock, AR and Bruce C. Wallace, Jr. of Sonoma, CA, two sisters; Peggy V. Hebert of Santa Rosa, CA and Mary J. Johnson of Hayden, ID, one brother; Donald J. Quayle of Fairfield, CA, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael D. Wallace, Patrick G. Wallace, Bruce L. Freeman and members of the Marine Corps League

Family will visit with friends Saturday, August 20, 2011, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
