

Steve Tash, 60 of Mountainburg, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 in his home. He was born August 19, 1954 in Oklahoma City to the late Edward and Beatrice Tash. He was a former tile and marble setter, a groundskeeper and attended the Mountainburg Presbyterian Church. Steve was a good-hearted, generous and loving man that would give you the “shirt off his back” to anyone in need. He was an avid outdoors man and he loved to go fishing with his sister.
Steve’s Celebration service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Cremation was under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Ft. Smith.
Steve is survived by his sister and best friend, Edwinna “Eddie” Tash Willard of Mountainburg, his two nieces; Elizabeth Price and her husband Robbie of Las Vegas, and Ginger Walls and her husband Roddy Green of Cosian, IN, his five great nieces; Hannah, Niko, Aubrey, Emma, and Kylie, and his two great nephews; Evan and Tanner. Steve is also survived by his Great Aunt, Ruby Roby of Oklahoma City and a host of cousins. Steve is survived by his beloved extended family; Betty Chandler and Martha Ward of Mountainburg, Jackson Chandler and his wife Robin of Colorado Springs, CO and April Rasmussen and her husband Dirk and their son Clay of Denver, CO. Steve is also survived by his best little buddy and friend his dog Molly.
