Susan Marie Post

Susan Marie Post, 56, of Fort Smith, passed away September 9, 2015 in Blue Springs, MO. She was born October 15, 1958 in Fort Smith to the late Martin Joseph Weisenfels and Carmelita Ann (Klein) Weisenfels. Sue was a Case Manager at Bost Inc. for 23 years and she was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband John R. Post; one daughter, Jennifer Pettygrew and her husband Nathan of Barling, AR; two sons, Michael Irwin and his wife Kristie and Jason Irwin and his wife Monica, both of Pottsville, AR; two brothers, Mike Weisenfels and his wife Charlotte and Bill Weisenfels and his wife Nita, both of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren, Kaylie, Rylie, Parkyr, Blake, Gabe, Shaylee, Jaden, Adyson and Ella.

Rosary will be said 7:00 PM Monday, September 14, 2015 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until start of the Rosary.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Boniface Catholic Church under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Porter, Jason Wewers, Mark Weisenfels, Nathan Pettygrew, Jeremy Bruce, and Marty Hair.

Sue affected many lives and was always there for anyone in need. She had a special place in her heart for all children. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandma. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
