Terry Lee Bailey, A true Hero, 54 of Huntington, was tragically taken from us while helping others at the scene of a traffic accident in Fouke, Arkansas on Monday, December 21, 2015. He was born June 28, 1961 in West Memphis, AR to the late Charles and Mary Bailey. He was a truck driver for Con-Way Freight where he had driven over 2 million miles without an accident. He was a member of NWTF. Terry was a volunteer firefighter for the Huntington Volunteer Fire Department for 8 years and the Barling Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years. He loved being and doing anything outdoors, especially with his grandkids who called him, “Pa-pa”. They especially loved riding around on the property with
“Pa-pa” on the 4-wheelers and the wagon. Terry was a hard-working man often finding him working on his property with the tractor, brush hogging, moving rock or hay bales, mowing the yard, burning anything, but in his down-time you would find him floating around in the pool or going to deer camp to hunt. He was one of the best hunters around and he loved showing off his trophies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Curtis Bailey, Jr.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 28, 2015 at Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith, AR. The family will receive guests 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
