Thelma J. Wilson

Thelma Jean Wilson, 85, of Roland, died June 22, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born February 9, 1930 in Booneville, AR to Gilbert Coleman and Mamie Little Wilson. She was a Charter Member of the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland and retired cafeteria manager for the Roland Public Schools.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie and husband Mike Richards of Roland; one son, Greg and wife Venita Wilson of Roland; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Franklin Wilson and one daughter, Linda Sue Spivey.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Roland City Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Richards, Dave Richards, Tim Johnson, Brandon Serjeant, Larry Henson, and Ronnie Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Wilson, Terry Wilson, Bob Carr, Larry Osborne, Bill Spivey, and Mike Wilson.
