Virginia Sue Mosley was born in Dallas, Texas to Lela Mae and John A. Ralls, and she passed away July 15, 2013. She was raised in a loving home with siblings Mary Ann, Charlotte Ruth, John Robinson, and Joseph Manton in Commanche Oklahoma. However, when she met William Ben Mosley, her fate was sealed in Arkansas. She raised her three girls Nancy, Sally, and Cathy in Fort Smith. She was always their biggest cheerleader in any endeavor they pursued. She prided herself in not only making a loving and fun home, but also in her community service work. She was active in the Junior Civic League, Goddard Memorial Methodist Church, and she opened the Kennedy for president headquarters in Ft. Smith. She was very active in the Democratic Party along side with her husband and family. As her children grew up and scattered, she and Bill loved to travel the world. Greece was her favorite country, but everyone’s home was always where she was, and that is where the family all met for special occasions. There’s never been a more beautiful woman (inside and out), a better mother, and a more patient and loving wife and friend than Sue, (which is what most everyone called her). Her memory lives on in her three girls, Nancy Ruth Tillery of Houston Texas, Sally Bondi of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, and Cathryne Sue Mosley of Fayettevile,Ar. She has five grandchildren; Justin Alexander of Fayetteville, AR, Benjamin Allen and wife Terri of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl, Matthew Clayton Bondi of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., Virginia Gammons Perlman (Ginny) of Denver, Co, and Lela Michelle Reeves of Rolesville, NC: four great grandchildren, Zane Allan and James Alston Bondi, Virginia Reese Perlman, and Zoe Noel Bearden, one surviving brother, Joseph Mantan Ralls of Moore, OK, and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ben Mosley of 53 years and her grandsons William Gabriel Gammons and Barry Brock Bearden, Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2013 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Park cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be Benjamin, Justin, Matthew, Zane, and Alston Bondi, and John Van Winkle. There will not be a visitation on Thursday. Memorials may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd. Springdale, AR 72762. Online condolences may be sent to www.edwardsfuneralhome.com.
