

Wanda Tittle Gooch, 84, passed away March 10, 2013. She was born June 10, 1928 in Kibler, AR to Earl Jennings Tittle and Lula Adele (Pinson) Tittle. She was a graduate of Van Buren High School where she was class Valedictorian. She was retired from St. Edward Mercy Medical Center, was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and she was Past President of the Republican Woman’s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Gooch, her two brothers, Ray and Roy Tittle; and she was also preceded in death by her best friend, Sonny Farrell. She is survived by one daughter, Paula Putman and her husband Greg, of Fort Smith; two sons, Barry Gooch of Fort Smith, and Cary Todd of Mena, AR; her sister-in law, Irene Tittle; seven grandchildren, Madelyn Ulrich, Miranda Putman, John Taylor Putman, Madison Putman, John Paul Gooch, Michael and Randy Briggs; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: John Taylor Putman, John Paul Gooch, Michael and Randy Briggs, Sam Martin, and Michael Saniseng.
