William “Dicky” Plank, 68, of Fort Smith, died July 25, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born August 7, 1946 in Fort Smith to Clarence R. “Buzz” and Phyllis Ann Knox Plank. He was a retired truck driver for FWCC and a volunteer Fire Fighter for District 1 of Crawford County.
He is survived by his wife, Valorie of the Home; one daughter, Dawn “DeDe” Newman of Fort Smith; two sons, Troy Plank of Fort Smith and Maurice Solner of Muldrow, OK; one sister, Anita Peters of Rudy, AR; one brother, Clarence “Eddie” Plank of Rudy, AR; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jacque Plank.
Memorial service will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Northside Baptist Church. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
