She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Charles (Jody) Dickerson; her loving children, Krista (Randy) Omspaugh, Charles Dickerson, and Jaime Fugate; her parents, Sally and James Sowers; brother, Danny Bassett; brother-in-law John (Brenda) Dickerson; sister-in-law Sandy Rebman; her Jimenez family; and several nieces and nephews. Amy was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Fern Sowers; brother, Thomas Boyce; and her grandson, Jacob Sanders.
Amy had a passion for reading, and making jewelry. She also loved knitting, crocheting, card games and bingo, hobbies that she enjoyed throughout her life. Her creativity and love for learning were evident in everything she did.
Amy's family and friends will remember her for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love. If Amy called you a friend, she considered you like family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday February 1, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00pm. Committal and Burial at Pleasant Chapel Church Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
