Amy Ruth Roberts, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was born March 15, 1936 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Alva and Amy (Fenn) Eardley. Amy retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools as a teacher. Surviving are her sons, John (Gina) Roberts of Santa Clarita, CA and Ted Roberts of Fort Wayne; daughters, Amy (Deryck) Marks of Bloomington, IN and Jenny Roberts of Mesa, AZ; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Al “Butch” Eardley of Livonia, MI; and niece and nephew, David Eardley and Nancy VanLoon, both of Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Roberts. A memorial service will be on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, with visitation starting at 12:00 PM prior to the service.
