

His mother relocated with Antonio to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1968.
Antonio was a 1984 graduate of R. Nelson Snider High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he began his work career as a welder, electrician, plumber and barber.
In 2020, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Summit City Church of Christ under the leadership of Bro. Robert Ray.
Antonio loved taking trips and grilling. He enjoyed going on walks, reading his Bible and riding his motorcycle. His most joyful moments were playing with his grandsons and taking care of his beloved wife, Lylounda.
He also was proud to work with Ground Effects of Auburn and CTN as a transporter.
Antonio was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hinton-Triggs; grandmother, Annie Bell Farley; grandfather, Clarence Hinton; and two uncles, Sam Farley and Rufus Hinton.
Antonio leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Lylounda Hinton; children, Gary Hinton II, Brandon Lewis and Latrece Hinton; grandchildren, Cameron Lewis, Legend Hinton, Kaiden Rios and Zyaire Hinton; siblings, June Jones of Fort Worth, TX and Steven Hinton of Marion, IN; aunts, Norma Adams, Jewel Warren and Rachel Farley; two bonus children, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Antonio will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
