Barbara Jo Haner

Barbara graduated from high school in Huntington, IN in 1964.

She worked as a quality control inspector at Raytheon Technologies for more than ten years before retiring.

A woman with a vibrant spirit, Barbara loved to travel, enjoyed playing Mahjong with her ladies’ group, and was especially known for savoring a glass of wine on the patio — one of her favorite simple pleasures.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn McLaughlin of Fort Wayne, IN; step-sons Todd and Tim Haner; siblings- Lynne (Tim) Alford, Dixie (Art) Puccetti, and Bob (Linda) Boxell. Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Hailey) McLaughlin, Angela McLaughlin, both Fort Wayne, IN; and great grandchildren; Aniya, Aaliyah, Nevaeh, Lenore, Nola, and Asa.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Haner, September 16, 2004, and stepson, Terry Haner.

Committal and burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
