Barbara worked at the Allen County Board of Health for thirty years and was a proud member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for over forty years.
She is survived by her children, Katrina Owen and Nick Owen both of Fort Wayne, IN and Steve (Joanna) Olson of Harker Heights, TX; seven grandchildren, Ashley Olson and Jonathan Olson of Harker Heights, TX, and Tatum Owen, Yasmine Owen-Hendricks, Tristian Owen, Colton Carpenter and Katie Olson of Fort Wayne, IN; and great granddaughter, Sawyer Wiley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Olson; sister, Inge C. Arre; and mother, Karen Brezenski.
Memorial Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Friday, July 19, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN.
