BETTY L. ROBINSON, 89, of Fort Wayne, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Born in rural Harford County, MD, she graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College, one of two persons in the first class to receive teaching degrees. She later earned her Masters of Education from Saint Francis University.
She taught music for the majority of her career at Croninger Elementary, retiring from FWCS in 1998. She had a sincere passion for her work and her students. She loved spending time with her family, going to Bible study, and doing word-finds.
Surviving are sons, Mark (Merrianne) Robinson of Fort Wayne, Jeff (Ann) Robinson of Wapakoneta, OH; daughters, Tammy Robinson of Fort Wayne and Tonya Wrightsman of Woodburn; grandchildren, Molly Anne Harter, Abbey and Josh Robinson, Jessica Huff, and Mandy Oliver, Jake and Nick Wrightsman, Steven and Stephanie Hanson, and Josh Conner; great grandchildren, Felix and Evelynn Oliver, and Emma and Amelia Huff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her parents, Frank and Nellie Linkous; brothers Delmer and Fred Linkous; and great-grandson, Alexander Lambert.
Funeral Service is 1:30 pm, Thursday March 13, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 5-7pm Wednesday March 12, 2025, at the funeral home. Committal and Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
