Beverly JoAnn Harrah, 93 of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on August 22, 2024 at Parkview Hospital. JoAnn was born in Wells County, Indiana on January 8, 1931. JoAnn graduated from Union Center High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State University and Master’s Degree from University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne. JoAnn was an educator for East Allen County Schools, serving as both teacher and guidance counselor. JoAnn enjoyed traveling and playing cards and dominoes with her friends. JoAnn is survived by her children Rhonda Ramsey, Kelly LaFontaine and Michael (Pamela) Harrah along with her loving grandchildren and great grandchild. JoAnn was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Folk and brother, Lynn “Bud” Veazey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Private family burial at Prospect Cemetery, Uniondale, Indiana. Memorial donations may be given to University of St. Francis.
