Beverly Sue Wysong, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 17, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Roy Durbin and Norma J. (Watkins) Goodpaster and was adopted by James W. Goodpaster at a young age. Beverly was married to the late Glenn Wysong. Mrs. Wysong retired from Vera Bradley as a Gerber Assistant and Order Selector. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of American Legion Post 82. Beverly loved to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by her children, Monica Jo Bunting and Joseph K. (Melissa) Bunting II; stepsons, Gary L. Wysong and Glenn E. Wysong Jr; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Vicki (Ken) Frier, Karen Zolman, Melinda (Jim) Hemminger and James (Tessa) Goodpaster; and her father James W. Goodpaster. Beverly was also preceded in death by a stepson, Dave Wysong. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 12 Noon, at C.M. Sloan and Son’s Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, In 46808. Calling will be for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Huntertown Cemetery.
