Brenda Sue Hartman

Brenda Hartman, 44, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Brenda was born on September 10, 1980, in Fort Wayne and she attended New Haven High School. She worked in the Service Department at Meijers on Illinois Road for over 19 years. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, grilling out with family, going on vacation, and collecting shot glasses and magnets from every trip.She was also very fond of her cats Leo Bear her pillow pet as she called him, her Keke Buddy and Bebe Ash. Most important to her though was spending time with her family. Surviving family include her daughter, Veronica Hartman; siblings, Jennifer (Rolland) Bonjour, Heather (Henry) McKale, and Ronnie Bowers; father, Ronald Woodward; and a host of additional family and friends. Brenda was preceded in passing by her mother, Susan (Langston) McKale; husband, Jeff Hartman; and son, Brendan Hartman. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
