It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Brooke Elizabeth Ebersole on March 9, 2025. Brooke was an extraordinary soul, loved by every person she encountered. She touched countless lives with her compassion, humor, and dedication.
Brooke's life was one of service to others. She had a heart that could not bear to see anyone go unheard or unseen. From a young age, she dedicated herself to the care of others, notably helping care for her beloved grandmother, which inspired her to pursue a career in nursing, where she found her true calling. She was not just a nurse; she was a beacon of support, an advocate, and a source of comfort to every patient she cared for.
Her most recent work focused on ensuring people over the age of 60 had the resources they needed to age in their homes. She was a passionate advocate for those who needed assistance but often had no voice for themselves. Her caring spirit and tireless dedication will live on in the many lives she improved.
Brooke’s infectious sense of humor was one of her greatest gifts. She had an unparalleled ability to make people laugh and bring light to the darkest of times. She once said that if she were to leave this world, she hoped everyone would find a way to laugh in her absence. In this, we honor her—by celebrating the beauty of laughter and finding joy in every moment, just as she did.
In memory of Brooke, we ask that you continue her work by living with compassion, finding humor in the small things, and, above all, ensuring that no one ever feels invisible. Brooke’s spirit lives on through the laughter she sparked, the lives she touched, and the love she shared. She will never be forgotten
Rest in peace, Brooke. You will forever be in our hearts.
Brooke is survived by her parents, Larry and Jane Ebersole, brothers Larry Ebersole and Matt Ebersole (Rebecca), sister Dawn Cromwell (Don), multiple nieces and nephews, and three great nieces.
