Carl Richard Vaughn, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 25, 2021. Born on March 29, 1937, in Harlan, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Paul and Dora (Osborne) Vaughn. He proudly served his country in the Army; and retired from Zollner.
He is survived by his siblings, Charles (Deb) Vaughn, Raymond E Vaughn, Lois A Stafford, and Lucille Vaughn; step-children, Jerry (Marsha) Bryan, Sandra Ramos, and Deborah (Terry) Vance; as well as several grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara E (Lord) Vaughn; and brother, Paul Vaughn Jr.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, August 1, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 S Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 12:00pm, until time of service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given the American Kidney Foundation.
