Carol Rose Cretsinger

Carol Rose Cretsinger, 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Sidney & Louis Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Gerald Edwin and Ada Mae (Perry) Christie.

She married William "Bill" L. Cretsinger on December 7, 1963 and he preceded her in death on December 20, 2003. She worked for Lincoln Life Financial for more than 25 years, retiring in 2011. Carol was an active member of Churubusco United Methodist Church. Carol enjoyed cross-word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading John Grisham books and watching classic Perry Mason shows. Above all else her family meant the world to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her sons, William, Jr. (Lori) and Reggie; daughter, Jamie Cretsinger; grandchildren, William III "Trey" (Kirsten), Amelia, Kordell, Kenzie, Brooke and Brett; one great-grandchild, Kooper; sister, Barbara Huffman; and close family friend, Jeremy Newman. Carol was also preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Christie Jr.

Funeral service Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1:00pm in D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home with calling from 11am to 1pm prior to the service. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
