Carol L Ellis

CAROL L. ELLIS, 80, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at St. Anne's Home from a long harrowing struggle with Alzheim er's. Born June 2, 1937 in Roanoke Ind., she was the daughter of the late Alton and Mildred Lesh. Carol worked at Ellison Bakery for 15 years before her retirement. She was a member of The Chapel, and the American Legion Post in Waynedale. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Arlie L. Ellis; sons, Kip (Denise) Ellis and Todd (Gary Bayman) Ellis; daughters, Mary Kay (Sue Cooper) Wallace, Julie (Steve) Twehues; nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Sharon) Lesh, Tom (Sandy) Lesh; sisters, Sharon (Dave) Bailey, and Nancy Perry. Carol was also preceded in death by her brother, Jack Lesh, and sister, Marge Rohr "Incredible thanks to the third floor staff at St. Anne Home and Heartland Hospice". Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the St. Anne's Home-Randallia, the children's program at The Chapel, or Heartland Hospice.
