Casey J. Chowning, 25, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, Casey proudly served as a member of the Army National Guard for United States of America. Surviving are his son, Caleb Bruning of Fort Wayne; mother, Kimberly (Michael) Perry of Fort Wayne; his brothers, Eric (Dana) Chowning of Woodbridge, VA, Jason Bloomfield of Fort Wayne, Chris Bloomfield of Fort Wayne, Michael (Natalie) Perry of Dayton, OH; sisters, Kristie (Dan) Duduka of FL, Brittany (Sarah) Perry of Port Charlotte, FL; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Casey was preceded in death by his father, John H. Chowning; grandmother, Barbara J. Kessler. Service is 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave with calling one hour prior. Calling also Friday, May 26, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park with full military honors. Memorials may be made to the family.
