Catherine Tobin

Cathy is survived by her sons Andrew Tyler and Joshua Ort; her brother Michael (Patty) Tyler; and her grandchildren, Cait Steele, Hannah Tyler, and Raynah Tyler; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tobin; her siblings Beverly “Jane” (Frank) McEllis and Patricia (Jerry) Moore; and her beloved Labrador Retrievers, Molly and Bubba. She touched many lives in her close and extended family.

In her life, Cathy demonstrated an unshakeable, unyielding love for family and for animals. She raised two hard working and caring sons and particularly doted on her grandchildren. Her home and presence was a place of tremendous warmth and welcome, with an old western always playing on the television.

In addition to her family, Cathy brought joy to many through her work and service. In particular, she touched many lives through her work at Don Hall’s where she worked for around 25 years. In her home and work, she worked to bring comfort and joy to the people around her. She will be greatly missed by many people.

A visitation for Cathy will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
