Chad was a great friend through so memories. This was from my wedding in 2004. Truly blessed to have had him in my life.  Rest easy Bud

So many memories of Chad; My favorite being of him, Zac, Matt, Mark and Travis all playing roller hockey in our cul-de-sac. I loved watching them play.  They played every day they could and loved every minute of it.  Sweet times! Chad you will be missed, but I am so thankful you are at peace with Jesus.  I look forward to seeing you again.  Hugs and condolences to Jean, Zac, Amy and the girls.

So very sad to hear about Chad.  We worked together on our work social events at INDOT.  He was so much fun and could always be counted on to help.  He made the best cranberry salad for our Thanksgiving luncheon.  His huge delicious cookies were always a special treat too.  He loved his family so much and had several pictures in his office. He enjoyed telling stories about his family.  He will be dearly missed. 

Chad was a kind and generous friend. I miss our lunchtime walks when we both worked on the 7th floor of INDOT.  We were both crazy Chicago Cubs fans.  This photo is from a fourth of July festival in Lawrence in 2017—we all had a blast. I won a minion stuffed animal and Chad won a fish! It’s one of my favorite pictures ever.  I’ll miss you friend.

A friendship spanning over two decades/half my life proved time and again that you don't have to be blood to be family.  We went to so many concerts together, and it was always fun to travel with Chad. 
 Rest in peace brother.

Chad loved my children and they loved him. Good memories. 

So many memories that there are not enough characters.  Chad was a wonderful guy.  He came to work with a friendly smile every day.  He was warm and caring.  Even in difficult times he was thinking of others and not himself.  I always knew when he ask about you or the family he really wanted to know.  Thank you Chad for everything.  RIP

Chad was always so helpful when I worked at INDOT as the Seymour Finance Director!  He was such a nice guy and we had lots of laughs!  I am so sad to hear this.  Praying for all of you!  He will be missed!  

Chad was always kind and helpful and a great source of knowledge for me and my team here in Fort Wayne.  I will miss our friendly banter about his Cubs and Lions afflictions and wish we had more chances to discuss over a cold one.

Chad loved going to Komets games. Im going to miss times like these.

Chad was so sweet, kind, and funny and will be truly missed.  Sending lots of prayers and love to Chad's family and friends.

Chad was one of the few co-workers I also called "friend". He was always so encouraging to me. He would text and say, "How's it going brother"? He cared about me and my family, truly cared. One time my daughter was raising money for pandas, something she is passionate about. Chad made a large donation so that she could reach her goal, and he just wanted to make her smile. He had such a gentle heart. He loved Jesus, that was always very evident. I miss him terribly. 

I worked with Chad for 4 years at INDOT. He was a constant source of light and kindness. He never failed to remind me to do my budget forecast and was always patient and light hearted going above and beyond to walk me through the process (again and again). Chad will be missed dearly by all his friends here at the agency.  Praying for the Wiedyk family.
