

CHARLES W. HAGAN, 90, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, in Fort Wayne. Born in Allen County, Charlie was the owner and operator of Hagan's Marathon Service Station for 30 years, and B & C Auto Sales, retiring in 1987. He attended Southwest Church of Christ, and was a member of several local wood carving clubs. "Charlie was an unforgettable character that made an impact on everyone that met him. His love for family was the most important thing in his world." Surviving are his wife, Liz Hagan of Fort Wayne; son, Michael (Ellen) Hagan of Leo; daughter, Ilene (Stan) Hill of Decatur; stepson, Wayne (Marilyn) Erexson of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Weiler of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche Hagan; parents, Charles F. Hagan and Annabelle Jordan; sisters, Delores Mills and Margaret Unger; and his brother, Neal Hagan. Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the funeral home. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Southwest Church of Christ or Wesleyan Redeemer Church.
