Charles Magers, 66, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013. Born Oct. 4, 1946, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Francis and Elizabeth Magers. He was an assembly worker for Dana Corp. for 33 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the American Legion Post 241.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Magers; son, Charles (Jennifer) Magers; daughter, Sheila Moser; grandchildren, Seth, Cortney and Cameron; sisters, Elizabeth (John) Ray, Theresa (George) Kacmarik and Maureen (Roger) Madden; and brothers, Christopher (Sue) Magers and Joseph Magers.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, with Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
