Charlotte Mae Johnson, 102 of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Charlotte was born in Bluffton, Indiana on November 1, 1920. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Cora (Krill) Reber. Charlotte was a member of Munson Chapel Methodist Church and has been a member of the American Legion Post 296 for many years. She has always loved to dance and made many new friends. Her husband of 42 years, Eugene Johnson and her son, Bruce passed away in 1982. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Marsha Abbett; granddaughter, Michelle Hughes; great-grandson, Jordan Hughes; and loving nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in passing by her grandsons, Todd Harris and Michael Archbold. A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with visitation beginning at 12:30pm. Burial to follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ossian. Contributions in Charlotte's memory may be made to Englewood Health and Rehab.
