Christopher Ray Snider

Christopher Ray Snider, age 64, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He was the sixth child, born September 7, 1959, to Donald and Elsie (Feltner) Snider, in Huntington, Indiana.

He was a graduate of Huntington North High School and retired from Briljent.

Chris loved his son, Aaron, dearly and was very proud of him. He especially enjoyed pranking Aaron at Christmas time with unusual gifts. He had many lifelong friendships and often shared memories of them. Chris will be missed by family and friends for his crazy sense of humor, such as the ongoing tales of fictitious Aunt Mary on his Facebook page. He enjoyed cruises, as well as spending time on the patio listening to the fountain, and giving names to all the visiting wildlife (e.g. Earl the frog and Paco the squirrel). Chris was also an excellent cook!

Chris is survived by spouse, Tim McLee; son, Aaron (Christina Bangma) Snider of Huntington, Indiana; step-daughter, Meredith (Matthew) Bennkemper of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Luke Bangma and Kali LaRocque of Huntington, Indiana; his little dog, Pixie; sister, Donna Shafer of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Les Snider.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cheryl Bixler and Renay Rivers; brother, Fayne Snider.
