Clarence Earl Kruger, “Earl”, 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. He was born on April 16, 1937, in Tecumseh Michigan, to the late Clarence Edward and Dorothy Vivian Kruger.
He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1954. He served three years in the United States Army, stationed mainly in Germany.
He attended several trade schools, earning several degrees in computer programming. He married Nancy Dinse in 1961, and they moved to Fort Wayne, IN and lived there until August 2024. Earl worked at International Harvester for 24 years, retired and went to work at North American Van Lines until he fully retired in 1999. Earl enjoyed gardening, golfing, computers, Summers at Devil’s Lake, his cats and listening to music. Every week, Nancy would bake him cookies while he played their favorite oldies that he had compiled for her.
Earl leaves behind his children, Michael (Tammie) Kruger, Karen (Dave) Jarrell; grandchildren, Chelsea (Zach) Schoeck, Dylan (Ellie) Kruger, Ryan (Grace) Jarrell, Rylee Jarrell; two great-grandchildren, Carter Schoeck & Addisyn Schoeck and soon to be baby Holland Kruger.
Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Kruger; his parents, Clarence and Dorothy; his brother, Dr. Robert Kruger.
A memorial gathering will be on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46806, at 12:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be at Ridgeway Michigan Cemetery where he will join his and Nancy’s Michigan family at a later date.
