Connie Marie Hamilton

Connie Marie Hamilton, beloved mother and wife, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2025, at the age of 64. Connie was born on May 1, 1960, to parents Arnold Conrad and Lillie Fahlsing. She would marry the love of her life, Buddie Hamilton, on September 8, 2007.

Connie was an excellent cook whose delicious meals could feed 150 hungry outlaws. She would can most of her food to preserve. Aside from cooking, her creativity was expressed through her love of sewing and quilting. Above all, Connie loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them. She enjoyed trips to the store with her kids and taking them on short drives to other small towns. Connie always made sure to take care of her family first and foremost.

Connie is survived by her husband, Buddie Hamilton; children, Stephanie (Tyon) Slayton, Samantha (Joseph) Perez, Inez (Joshua) Bowman, Cody DeBaillie; grandchildren, Nathaniel Slayton, Natalie Slayton, Marissa Wendel, Brodie Wendel, Audrina Perez, Gunner Perez, Koda-Dane Bowman, Jace-Jasper Bowman, Nova-Lilith Bowman, Sage-Marie Bowman, Jackson DeBaillie, Sophia Keen, Braelynn Keen; and siblings Carolyn Kerns, Robert Conrad, Roger Conrad, Jeanne Conrad, Marianne Reyna, Marti Combs, and Paula Waldren. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Conrad and Lillie Fahlsing; sister, Peggy Pawlowski; and granddaughter, Brooke Wendel.

A celebration of life for Connie will take place on Thursday, April 10 from 5PM-7PM, with a service starting at 6:30PM, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46808. Family and friends can share memories and condolences to sloanandsonsfuneralhome.com
