Daniel A. Steininger, 57, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was born on January 22, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Anthony G. and Martha A. (Ohler) Steininger. He worked as a school teacher. He will be remembered as someone who loved to play chess, his enjoyment of playing with his nieces and nephews, and his cat Tootsie. He was described as whitty, clever, generous, artistic, and good hearted. Surviving family include his siblings, Ricky, Mike, Julie, Kathy, and Jeff; numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
